Dr. Glenda Stump is an educator and education researcher whose career has spanned multiple disciplines. She currently works as an Education Research Scientist in the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is currently engaged in multiple international projects that include technology-enhanced STEM education and teacher professional development/faculty development. Dr. Stump conducts research on motivation and pedagogic theory as well as teaching methods. Her most recent collaborative publications are 'Translating the ICAP Theory of Cognitive Engagement Into Practice' and 'Kreyòl, Pedagogy, and Technology for Opening up Quality Education in Haiti: Changes in Teachers' Metalinguistic Attitudes as First Steps in a Paradigm Shift.' Her work in professional development, learning, and motivation position her well to think about skill development in the future workforce.
